The Consorcio Tecnológico del Agua (COTH2O) it's a synergestic network that, through collaborative work, promotes and catalyzes the development, scaling and transfer of technological solutions and innovations that contribute to reducing gaps in efficient and integrated management of water resources.
The technological solutions emerging from the collaborative work between the academia and companies aims to increase water efficiency and sustainability, as well as safely address water scarcity in the country's south-central macro-region. These include the Metropolitan, O'Higgins, Maule and Ñuble regions, with the Valparaíso, Biobío and La Araucanía regions joining forces over the years.

¿Who makes up this collaborative network?
This network is compromised of University of Concepción in conjuction with Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, the Agriculture Research Institute INIA, UC Davis Chile Life Science Innovation Center, University of Chile, Bernardo O'Higgins University and Diego Portales University. It also includes the participation of 20 companies from the agriculture, healthcare, engineering, technology, industrial, telecommunications, and water user organization sectors.
