As a Water Technological Consortium, we've assembled a comprehensive team of professional with recognized knowledge and experienced in various fields, who analyze the challenges or problems facing companies and other organizations.
Water microbiome laboratory
Oriented to the analysis, monitoring and survaillance of microorganisms (bacteria, fungi, viruses). It's located on the second floor of the Biotechnology Center building at the University of Concepción, Concepción campus. It features a highly-value mass sequencing tool, which allows for more sensitive and accurate reports for determining the microbiological quality of water.
Irrigation Evaluation and Efficiency
Real-time evaluation of irrigation efficiencies and diagnosis of operation problems of pressurized irrigation equipment. In addition, soil moisture content monitoring and mapping is provided for irrigation planning and management purposes.
Water regeneration and reuse
Advanced treatment of water that is currently already treated by sanitary or industrial operations, in order to achieve new water of sufficient quality for reuse, whether in agriculture, for human use or in the same industrial operations.
Seawater desalination by nanofiltration
Generation of a new source of quality water for human consumption and irrigation, using nanofiltration which is a membrane filtration process of seawater and/or brackish water.
Groundwater recharge
Optimization of the artificial recharge of aquifers through a thorough knowledge of the infiltration of water from canals and the aquifer to be recharged.
Spill Evaluation
Exhaustive evaluation of the real impact caused by spills up to the precise diagnosis of the affected areas. We provide concrete proposals for reinstatement and compensation of damages, supported by detailed economic calculations of the extent of the damage.
